Payment/Cancellation :

      50% due at time of booking unless within 72 hours, then 100%. Total must be paid 72 hours prior to charter date.  Failure to pay balance will result in cancellation with no refund.

      By completing the checkout process, you are agreeing Hook and Leader Charter, LLC’s Terms of Service and authorizing Hook and Leader Charter, LLC to bill your credit card for all payments unless otherwise notifying our team in writing. You also authorize Hook and Leadker Charter, LLC  to bill your credit card for any damage incurred by you or your guests to the boat. The charterer is not billed for any mechanical failures to the vessel unless that failure was directly caused by their action(s). By using our service, you agree to allow Hook and Leader Charter, LLC to bill the credit card on file for any additional charges or services associated with your charter. By using Hook and Leader Charter LLC’s service, you are agreeing to not chargeback any of the fees billed to your card unless fraud has been intentionally committed by either party.

If your charter departs within 72 hours of paying your deposit, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If weather is bad or a there is a mechanical failure of the vessel, we will work with you to reschedule your charter. ... Any cancellations made after 24 hours of paying your deposit will not be refunded.

Final payments ("remaining balance") are non-refundable after they have been received unless there is dangerous weather or a mechanical failure of the vessel. The Captain, by law, has the only authority to call off a charter for weather or mechanical related reasons.

In case of inclement weather, you will receive a full credit that can be applied to your next charter. All credits expire 365 days (or 1 calendar year) from your original departure date. We cannot guarantee availability of the same vessel you originally booked.

Bad weather :

A little rain is never cause for concern here in Florida. However, if inclement weather poses any threats to the crew or the party, we reserve the rights to cancel the excursion and allow for rescheduling. Your safety is our top priority. If the weather is bad day of, we can reschedule your charter. We do not offer refunds due to weather, but we can reschedule your charter up to one year from your original departure date.

 Illegal drugs and/or contraband are strictly prohibited. Hard liquor is also not allowed on the boat, although beer is acceptable in moderation (no glass bottles or containers and no personal coolers). Deck shoes, sneakers or flip-flops only. No black or hard soled shoes. Do not bring any GPS devices; you will be asked to leave them at the dock. No spray sunscreen.

Captain my stop the charter and return to shore immediately, if client or guests exhibit any unsafe behavior or do NOT follow the charter rules.
